About Dr. Zhao

As a young man Dr. Zhuangguang Zhao studied traditional Chinese Medicine which concentrates on the healing properties of herbs. His specialty is skin disorders. The story of Fabao 101 dates back to 1973, when a school teacher asked him for help. She was suffering from Alopecia. She had to wear a wig, but

some of her students still made fun of her. Eventually, she left her job. This incident marked the beginning of his decades of endeavors in research in hair loss. 1973:  Dr. Zhao started researching literatures and setup his small laboratory. 1973 - 75: Dr. Zhao tested various medicinal plants and their combinations which were traditionally believed to promote hair growth, but all formulations were proven to be not effective during clinical trials. 1976: After a total of one hundred and one (101) experiments, Dr. Zhao found the first efficacious formulation. 1976 - 85: Dr. Zhao moved to Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province, to continue his research and treat hair loss patients. 1986: at the invitation of officials from Beijing, Dr. Zhao moved to Beijing and began to set up a plant to produce "101 Hair Regeneration Liniment." 1988:  "101 Hair Regeneration Liniment." was marketed in Japan, Hong Kong, and China. 1990: then Prime Minister Li Peng praised Dr. Zhao's scientific achievements.
